Some happy western photos and discussion of avoidance

Image
Because of having craniocervical instability--essentially permanent damage caused by inflammation, to my ligaments, which lead to the equivalent of an ongoing traumatic brain injury to the brainstem, I didnt make as much progress as others in absolute terms with mold avoidance, but I think some of the progress even just in relative terms was very remarkable. when we set out to start doing mold avoidance, I was bedbound, but worse than that even--I was experiencing episodic near-paralysis where I had trouble even talking, at my home in vermont. I had to crawl to the bathroom and even that was arduous. there is more than one axis of improvement/health, so I won't say that there was a single peak, but that was the nadir.  Some of the peaks:  When we first drove up to shenandoah national park, from the suburban towns in the valley, i immediatley went from one of these episodes of paralysis to sitting up and talking animatedly, i also felt calm and good mood, instead of usua...

A Collection of Blackpills in no particular order: 1. the Generational Health/Wealth Gap

Image
It's pretty well known, even by non millennials, that millennials , and probably each subsequent generation, are substantially poorer than the Boomers and Gen x.  It's not worth another essay, and I cant do anything about the phenomenon anyway, other than reiterate it.  But I want to argue that theres another insidious thing that got taken from us... our vitality, our strength, our health.   But first, think about what these charts mean in context of mold avoidance and the financial means to pursue this treatment.  Or any medical treatment for that matter.  We are talking about  a generation that on average has ten times less wealth than Baby Boomers But that may just be the start of the raw deal people born into this world recently are getting.   While generational differences --in terms of hard dividing lines between generations, different aesthetics ,  etc.--may be psyops to divide people with a common goal and prevent them from...

Suicide and Symbolism Part II

Image
This is gonna be a little shorter than the last post, because I'm pretty low energy and also b/c I'm trying to direct my energy more to other things atm.  Nevertheless, I'd like to make this a series, so maybe expect more in the future.  Possibly in something like ten years or twenty, however. A lot of people question whether Elliott Smith's suicide was, indeed, a suicide.  He was newly sober, working on what a lot of people consider his best work, and to some accounts, doing a lot better. Many consider Jennifer Chiba, his girlfriend at the time, to have been manipulative and to not have his best interests at heart.  The most suspicious piece of evidence has always been, however, his manner of death. He stabbed himself in the chest twice.  According to Chiba, they argued, then she locked herself in the bathroom to take a shower, and heard Elliott scream, upon which she came out of the bathroom and saw him standing there with a knife in his chest.  Sh...

Call to Action and Awareness re: Environmental Illness

heres a followup letter im writing to my fellow EI patients in hope of achieving some specific advocacy actions " While I am very ill currently and need to spend most of my time figuring out my own care, it is not lost on me that our community is in many ways on our own and we need to fight even when we should be able to rest. We need to focus on the big picture even when we should be able to focus on the details of our own illness, avoidance and health. This is why I made the video "Open Letter to the Open Medicine Foundation" in October. I wanted to address the scientists at the Open Medicine Foundation and tell them my personal story relating to mold and the difficulties of avoidance, but also the necessity of avoidance, and what I've learned throughout the process. I also wanted to illustrate that mold avoidance was a productive experiment that yielded results, but also more questions. What is different with mold and supertoxins in this day and age tha...
